BC150 is proud to be the Evening Sponsor for the Grand Finale of the HSBC Celebration of Light during the BC Day long weekend. A BC150 fireworks show will kick-off an incredible evening of competition between the three participating countries.

Fireworks and soundscapes will help to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Crown Colony of British Columbia, capturing the rich history of the Aboriginal peoples who have lived here for thousands of years and the passion of the pioneers who followed the gold rush and set down roots here. The anniversary honours the diversity and widespread achievements of the people who built this province, while also setting sights on all of the opportunities that the future holds. It is a celebration of our land, our culture, our people and everything else that makes British Columbia the best place on earth.
