Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2008 HSBC Celebration of Light. The HSBC Celebration of Light is a volunteer-driven event and is always in search of volunteers to donate their time to help make the event a success.
Traffic Volunteers
Special assistance in traffic management is required on all four fireworks evenings in both the West End and Kits. To find out more information about our traffic volunteer program and to become a traffic management volunteer, please contact Traffic Volunteer Coordinator – Pat Short at 604-687-0761 or patanne@shaw.ca.
Information & Merchandising Volunteers
- Assisting with various duties:
- Working in information/merchandise booths
- Assisting with set-up and take down of signage
- Promoting the People’s Choice Award (Text-to-Vote) & merchandise
- Volunteering available on all four fireworks evenings in both the West end and Kits, some tasks may start earlier than others
