Fireworks Art Prints 2008 – Artist Tiko Kerr

Visual artist Tiko Kerr has developed his unique vision which employs a vivid sense of color, a careful examination of light, and a sensuous rhythm that runs through the physicality of his subjects. He has had an acute fascination with painting Vancouver and the West Coast and actively participates in the arts, sports and charitable communities here. His work is widely collected across Canada and abroad and he is presently at the height of his creative powers.

This painting was a chance for me to examine the drama of light changing on the great Vancouver landmark, The Vancouver Museum and Planetarium. From daylight, through dusk and into the night, this landscape explodes magically to life with the incredible symphony of music and pyrotechnics at HSBC’s spectacular Celebration of Light.
