USA – Rozzi Inc.
The Rozzi company was started by an Italian Immigrant to the United States, Paul Rozzi, in the early 20th Century. His son Arthur opened the present firm in Loveland, Ohio in 1930 and began to manufacture and display fireworks of all kinds. Today, the fourth generation of Rozzi’s, led by John Rozzi continue to bring their expertise to the art of fireworks.
Previous awards include 1992 and 2005 Silver Jupiter Award at the Montreal International Fireworks Festival in Montreal, Canada.
Spain – Pirotecnia Igual
Hell and Heaven Battle is an exercise in imagination and force, in which
the public will enjoy with the recreation of the fight between light and
darkness.
With their individual style, Pirotecnia Igual masterfully mix
the power of the Iberian fire with the latest choreographic trends, while
using the most advanced technologies of design and display.
Mexico – Lux Pirotecnia
Lux Pirotecnia was initially conceived by the Ramos Avila family and founded under the leadership of Jorge Marquez, synchronizing pyrotechnic shows with unique musical pieces. For more then 16 years Lux have been presenting their pyro-musical shows in Mexico, changing the notion that a pyrotechnic show is simply a matter of shooting fireworks to the recognition of its artistic expression.
All shows are designed by Marquez with the Pyrotecnic elements manufactured by the Ramos Avila family.
Previous awards include 1st Place at the 2006 HSBC Celebration of Light in Vancouver.
Tribute to China – Fiatlux-Ampleman
Founded in 1985, Fiatlux-Ampleman specialize in original and creative pyrotechnic presentations, safely pushing the limits and becoming more creative with each show, they have become renowned both at home and abroad.
Fiatlux-Ampleman has always been a leader in the industry, finding new ways to accommodate small firing sites, incorporating pyrotechnics in venues no one would have imagined and finding new and imaginative ways to integrate itself into productions.
Frank Furtado of Fiatlux-Ampleman is also the Executive Producer of the Celebration of Light in Vancouver.
